Instead of having to sit down and devote hours to reading through a textbook you can learn French while you are working out, driving around, or even lying in bed. That's what I love about this course.

Seriously, who has the time to sit down and read all that stuff anyway??!

    Learning a new language can be very off-putting when you are confronted with so much information all at once.

Rocket French comes with a large grammar guide and I feel that starting with this guide will actually deter you from continuing with the rest of the course.  This was the mistake I first made. I started going through the guide and soon become a fish out of water.

So I went back and started with the audios and interactive games. I'm so glad I did.

I suggest you also start with the interactive features first. The software and the audios help you get a taste of the language and you'll find once you start picking up on a few phrases like I did, you will want to start devouring more and more of the information anyway.
